Diet Food is often thought of as plain food that just isn’t tasty. You might even hate the word ‘Diet’, right? A Vital Foods Diet meal is as tasty as our other meals! The food is identical to regular meals, except that greater care is taken in preparing a low calorie menu. Vegetables that are not suitable for a low calorie Diet meal are kept to a minimum, if not avoided.
The Diet meal is high in nutrients, fiber and proteins. A typical Diet meal will have:
- 1 Dal
- 1 Vegetable (includes Green vegetables and avoids fatty ones)
- 4 Roti (Medium, White or Pearl Millet/Ragi/Multigrain)
- 1 Organic Brown Rice or Broken Wheat (Dalia)
- 1 portion of Salad
- 1 Juice / Buttermilk / Soup
If you’re looking for a change in the menu, we offer Combo meal plans that have World Cuisine such as Continental, Thai, South Indian, etc. These meals go out twice a week in a Combo Meal Plan and Diet meals for the other three days. Combo Meals are available at an additional cost to the Diet meal.
